Job summary

Karius is expanding its commercial footprint in infectious disease diagnostics. The Clinical Sales Manager will lead sales efforts in a defined US regional territory, focusing on infectious disease physicians, hospital leaders, and C-level executives to drive adoption of the Karius test.

Remote field role with up to 70% travel, reporting to Regional Sales Director. Bachelor’s degree required; 5+ years in Life Sciences sales with a strong hospital network preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Life Sciences or biotech sales/business development.
• Proven track record with hospitals and health systems.
• Ability to engage C-level executives and clinicians.

Responsibilities

• Grow sales and test volume in the defined territory by acquiring new hospital accounts and expanding within existing ones.
• Collaborate with Inside Sales, Customer Success, Medical Affairs, and Marketing to reach goals.
• Develop thought leaders and early adopters for the new diagnostic approach.
• Help build a world-class commercial organization and culture.
• Manage hospital and health system accounts and renewals.
• Segment and prioritize hospital accounts to maximize opportunities.
• Present product features to stakeholders and drive adoption and ROI discussions.
• Act as a subject matter expert on the Karius test and differentiate from competitors.
• Build long-term trusted advisor relationships across partners.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing and Product for market feedback.
• Onboard new accounts with Clinical/Medical Affairs support.
