Job summary

Karius is expanding its commercial team in the U.S. to lead clinical sales efforts across hospitals and health systems.

The Clinical Sales Manager will build relationships with infectious disease physicians, lab directors, and executives to drive adoption of the Karius test and related solutions. The role requires a deep network in health systems, a proven track record in life sciences sales, and the ability to communicate complex genomics and AI-enabled diagnostics to clinical leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree; MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus.
• 5+ years of sales/business development experience in Life Sciences/Biotech/Medical devices or related fields.
• Strong network of relationships across hospitals, microbiology labs, physician groups, and executives.
• Track record of top sales performance and multi-level account management.

Responsibilities

• Grow sales and test volume in territory by establishing hospital partnerships.
• Collaborate with Inside Sales, Marketing, and Medical Affairs to meet territory goals.
• Develop thought leaders and early adopters for the new diagnostic approach.
• Build and manage regional hospital and health-system accounts for long-term revenue.
• Present product features to physicians and hospital stakeholders using consultative sales.
