Job summary

Karius is seeking a Clinical Sales Manager to lead sales efforts in a defined regional territory across Eastern North Carolina and Southern Virginia with deep health system experience. You will focus on infectious disease physicians, lab directors, and executives to drive adoption of the Karius test and related solutions.

As a senior sales driver, you will partner with Inside Sales, Medical Affairs and Marketing to achieve market goals, grow revenue, and establish lasting partnerships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or MBA a plus
• 5+ years of sales/business development in Life Sciences/ Biotech/ Medical Device/ Diagnostic industries
• Robust network of hospital and health system relationships
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel
• Proven track record of introducing transformational products to physicians and hospitals

Responsibilities

• Grow sales revenue and test volume in territory by establishing new business in hospitals
• Collaborate with Inside Sales, Customer Success, Medical Affairs, and Marketing to achieve goals
• Develop thought leaders and early adopters for new diagnostic approaches
• Build and manage a regional territory with hospital and health system accounts
• Present product features and benefits to stakeholders and close opportunities
• Secure contracts/ renewals and manage partner relationships
