Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an experienced leader to manage a team responsible for clinical data abstraction, registry operations, and quality reporting. The role collaborates with facility executives and service lines to drive improvement and ensure compliance with applicable standards.

The position requires several years of quality and registry experience, with supervisory responsibilities and orthopedic/trauma exposure.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of experience in quality, abstraction, registry with 1 year of supervisory experience leading a team; healthcare environment
• 5 years of orthopedic and/or trauma experience, such as in the OR, Med Surg, ER, ICU.
• Knowledgeable and proficient in the use of software, data quality, data management, and presentation.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office to produce, display, and maintain statistical data.

Responsibilities

• Manages a team to provide clinical synthesis, distribution, and analysis of data for quality projects.
• Collaborates with service lines on development and execution plans for improvement opportunities.
• Oversees data collection, reporting, and submission standards for governing entities.
• Establishes registry support services and ensures compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards.
• Leads implementation of data system software and relevant updates.
• Performs HR responsibilities including interviews, evaluations, and staff development.
