Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Clinical Data Abstraction Leader to manage a team responsible for clinical data synthesis, reporting, and registry oversight. This remote role supports system-wide quality initiatives in a large healthcare network.

Applicants should have a healthcare bachelor’s degree and at least three years in quality/abstraction/registry with supervisory experience, plus strong communication and data management skills. Prior orthopedic/trauma experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare related field.
• Three years of experience in quality, abstraction, registry with one year of supervisory experience.
• Five years of orthopedic and/or trauma experience preferred (OR, Med Surg, ER, ICU).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of data management, reporting, and statutory/accreditation standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team to provide clinical synthesis, distribution and analysis of data to support system strategies and quality projects.
• Establish registry support and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and accreditation standards.
• Oversee data collection and submission for CMS, payors, and national databases; ensure data accuracy and integrity.
