Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Quality Abstraction Manager to lead a team responsible for clinical data synthesis, reporting, and registry management across enterprise initiatives. The role collaborates with facility executives and service lines to identify improvement opportunities and ensure accurate, timely submissions.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years supervising and 5 years in orthopedic/trauma settings, with strong data analysis and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in quality, abstraction, or registry with one year in supervision.
• Five years of orthopedic or trauma experience (OR, Med Surg, ER, ICU).
• Proficient in software, data quality, data management, and presentation.
• Knowledge of statutory requirements and accreditation standards for data reporting.
• Strong analytic and problem-solving skills with ability to display complex data.

Responsibilities

• Manage team to provide clinical synthesis, distribution, and analysis of data.
• Collaborate with facility executives and service lines on improvement plans.
• Oversee data collection and reporting to meet submission standards.
• Lead interoperability and validation processes for data abstraction.
• Support registry compliance with state and federal regulations.
