Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals, Inc. is seeking a Director of Facilities Maintenance and Retail - Climate Control to lead strategic sales and operational strategies for the Facility Maintenance & Retail end market.

The role includes mentoring SCRs, driving revenue growth, and delivering analytics to leadership. You will guide training, customer experience improvements, and cross-functional collaboration to expand climate control capabilities across geographies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of experience and education, plus 3-5 years of sales and/or marketing experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the year.
• Ability to operate both strategically and tactically.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interface with all levels of an organization including executive leadership along with great follow up skills and ability to change mid-stream to achieve targeted goals.
• Strong training/coaching/presentation skills.
• Technical and mechanical aptitude and ability to instruct, train and demonstrate product features and benefits.
• Proficient in Microsoft applications.
• Person can reside anywhere in the US close to a major airport.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic sales initiatives and mentor SCR team.
• Conduct quarterly account reviews and ensure customer expectations are met.
• Serve as SME for technical support for complex engineered solutions.
• Assist with designs, take-offs/proposal calculations and help WIN large projects.
• Create a uniform customer experience across geographies.
• Promote climate control capabilities with cross-selling across departments.
• Maximize fleet ROI with strategic customers across Sales/Ops/Fleet.
• Analyze rates and lead quarterly rate reviews for strategic customers.
• Develop and execute a 12-month strategic sales calendar and events.
• Collaborate with NAMs, SCRs, RSDs to expand revenue through managed accounts.
