Job summary

Okta is seeking a Senior Manager, Solutions Engineering – Strategic (Auth0) to lead a high-impact team focused on strategic enterprise accounts. You will shape technical strategies, align with sales leadership, and drive multi-year roadmaps across CIAM transformations for top customers.

Responsibilities include leading ~10 Senior/Principal SEs, guiding architectural rigor, and sponsoring executive-level engagements, with remote work flexibility and office presence as needed.

Qualifications

• Substantial presales or architectural background in CIAM or consumer identity ecosystems.
• 4+ years managing and scaling a high-performing presales or solutions engineering team within enterprise SaaS.
• Strong working knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), SAML, Passkeys/WebAuthn, JWT, API security.
• Experience with large-scale identity architectures and compliance standards (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, HIPAA).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale a team of Senior and Principal Solutions Engineers focused on Auth0.
• Standardize and execute technical sales playbooks for complex Auth0 scenarios.
• Oversee technical validations, POCs, and architectural reviews for high-concurrency apps.
• Build executive sponsorship and advisory relationships with customer leadership.
• Influence product roadmap by translating field requirements into platform innovations.
• Collaborate with sales, operations, enablement, HR and finance to scale the SE organization.
