Job summary

Okta is seeking a Senior Manager, Solutions Engineering – Strategic (Auth0) to lead the solutions engineering team focused on our largest enterprise accounts. You will drive technical strategy, architect scalable CIAM solutions, and partner with Strategic Sales to close high-value opportunities.

The role requires deep CIAM expertise, 4+ years leading presales teams, and strong executive communication. A remote/hybrid setup is supported with in-office expectations near major hubs.

Qualifications

• CIAM or presales/architectural background in enterprise SaaS.
• 4+ years leading and scaling a technical presales or solutions engineering team.
• Deep knowledge of identity protocols: OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, Passkeys/WebAuthn, JWT, API security.
• Experience applying MEDDPICC and Command of the Message in enterprise deals.
• Executive communication and cross-functional collaboration with Security, Product, Engineering, and Marketing.

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale a high-performing team of ~10 Senior and Principal Solutions Engineers.
• Drive strategic engagements with complex Auth0 scenarios and migrations.
• Champion architectural rigor through validations, POCs, and reviews; track KPIs.
• Act as executive sponsor on Tier‑1 opportunities with client executives.
• Influence product roadmap via field feedback to Product and Engineering teams.
• Partner with Sales, Operations, Enablement, HR, and Finance to plan and resource the SE organization.
