Job summary

Okta is seeking a Senior Manager, Solutions Engineering - Strategic (Auth0) to lead the Auth0 Solutions Engineering team focused on Okta's highest-value enterprise accounts. You will partner with Strategic Sales to co-author and execute the technical strategy across complex Auth0 transformations.

You will oversee technical validations, POCs, and architectural reviews, while building executive-level advisory relationships and translating field needs into platform innovations.

Qualifications

• Substantial presales or architectural background in CIAM or consumer identity ecosystems.
• 4+ years leading and scaling a technical presales or solutions engineering team.
• Strong knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, Passkeys/WebAuthn, JWT and API security.
• Experience with large-scale identity routing, multi-region deployments, and GDPR/CCPA/HIPAA.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a ~10-person Solutions Engineers team focused on Auth0.
• Standardize and execute technical sales playbooks for complex Auth0 scenarios.
• Oversee validations, POCs, and architectural reviews for high-concurrency apps.
• Act as executive sponsor on Tier-1 opportunities with senior customer stakeholders.
• Influence product roadmap by translating field requirements to platform improvements.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Enablement, HR, and Finance to scale the SE organization.
