Job summary

Verizon is seeking a results-driven sales professional in Milpitas, CA to convert prospects into long-term customers. You will identify business challenges, tailor technology solutions, and drive revenue growth while nurturing relationships with key decision makers.

You will excel at cold-calling, lead generation, and presenting multi-product solutions across Cloud, Security, ISP, VoIP and Google platforms. Travel within your territory may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of relevant work experience.
• Three or more years of relevant work experience.
• Willingness to work in a mobile working model with travel within your assigned geographic sales territory (up to ~50%).
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Developing and qualifying leads within territory to drive sales opportunities through cold-calling, partner-selling, lead-generation campaigns and social selling.
• Gaining new business and incremental revenue to meet sales targets.
• Retaining, managing and growing the existing customer base.
• Educating customers while leveraging innovative business solutions.
• Building relationships with key decision makers.
• Presenting and creating multi-product solution opportunities.
• Understanding and selling software solutions including Cloud, Security, ISP, VoIP and Google platforms.
• Tracking and reporting progress through sales force automation tools.
• Drive sales, increase service revenue and manage relationships for accounts in the 1-19 Employee Segment.
