UNFI is seeking a remote Senior Sales/Account Manager to drive growth within existing customer accounts and identify new opportunities in bulk and private-brand snacks. You will build relationships, manage account activities, and collaborate with the Director of Sales to meet targets and expand market presence.

The role requires 5+ years in sales/account management, a Bachelor’s degree, and strong communication and negotiation skills. Travel up to 50% is possible as needed.

Formación

• 5+ years in sales/account management.
• Experience developing and carrying out business plans, sales plans, and commission programs.
• Knowledge of Strategic and Core Account Management principles.
• Understanding of company products.
• Knowledge of sales forecasting, promotions, and related techniques.
• Knowledge of margin and profitability.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field or equivalent experience.

Responsabilidades

• Create strategy to identify new sales opportunities with new and existing UNFI customers.
• Provide direction to team to execute sales strategy.
• Deliver on Business Development Department financial goals.
• Present to and consult with customers on business trends and developing new products, services and channels.
• Collaborate with purchasing for components procurement.
• Work with Category Management to strengthen relationships across departments in retail accounts.
• Develop new products and channel opportunities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
