Job summary

Motorola Solutions’ Silvus Technologies unit seeks a Business Development Engineer to bridge RF capabilities with USSOCOM requirements. You will support field trials, partner with engineering and business development, and help translate field feedback into roadmap inputs.

The role requires up to 50% travel and a strong security clearance. You will work with the Applications Engineering team to demonstrate interoperability of StreamCaster radios in multi-domain environments and will engage with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related C5ISR field; 2–5 years in systems engineering or defense tech.
• Active SECRET clearance or ability to obtain within 15 months.
• U.S. Citizenship and background/drug check required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze USSOCOM capability gaps and map needs to tactical radio solutions.
• Support field trials, modernizations, and user evaluations of StreamCaster radios.
• Collaborate with engineering to ensure technically sound architectures.
• Present demonstrations tailored to low-signature, tactical edge needs.
• Assist business development in responding to RFIs/RFPs and market research.
