Motorola Solutions, through its Silvus Technologies subsidiary, seeks a Business Development Engineer, USSOCOM, to bridge RF capabilities with SOF customer needs. You will work with engineering and business development to demonstrate interoperability, field-readiness, and low-signature performance of StreamCaster radios across multi-domain environments.

This role involves up to 50% travel and a 100% remote option depending on location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field with 2–5 years in systems engineering or defense tech roles.
• Security Clearance: Active U.S. Government SECRET or ability to obtain within 15 months.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen for government contracts.
• Background check and drug test required.

Responsabilités

• Analyze USSOCOM capability gaps and translate needs into radio solutions.
• Plan, configure networks, and support live field trials and evaluations.
• Collaborate with Engineering to benchmark and verify solution architectures.
• Align technical work with Business Development priorities and customer needs.
• Develop technical demos tailored to low-signature, resilient, tactical edge ops.
• Support RFI/RFP responses and identify industry partnerships.
