Silvus Technologies, a wholly owned subsidiary of Motorola Solutions, Inc., seeks a Business Development Engineer to bridge RF capabilities with USSOCOM requirements. You will work with engineering and business development to demonstrate interoperability, field-readiness, and low-signature performance of StreamCaster MANET radios across domains.

The role involves up to 50% travel to customer sites and laboratories, with a 100% remote option depending on location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 2–5 years in systems engineering or defense tech roles, or 5+ years with HS diploma.
• Exposure to SDRs, IP routing protocols, or tactical communications systems.
• Basic familiarity with RF test equipment such as spectrum analyzers and signal generators.

Responsabilités

• Analyze USSOCOM capability gaps and map operational needs to radio solutions.
• Support planning, network configuration, and field trial execution.
• Collaborate to leverage testing data for verifying architectures.
• Maintain alignment with Business Development for technical needs and priorities.
• Develop demonstrations for low-signature, resilient, tactical edge needs for USSOCOM.
• Contribute to RFI/RFP responses and end-to-end network test architectures.
• Engage with USSOCOM stakeholders and partners to inform roadmaps.
