Motorola Solutions’ Silvus Technologies unit seeks a Business Development Engineer for USSOCOM to bridge RF capabilities with customer requirements. You’ll work with Engineering and BD teams to demonstrate interoperability, low-signature performance, and field-readiness of StreamCaster radios across multi-domain environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Network Engineering.
• Active experience with RF test equipment and SDRs.
• Security clearance: US SECRET or ability to obtain within 15 months.
• Must be a U.S. citizen due to government contracts.

Responsabilités

• Analyze USSOCOM capability gaps and define how radio solutions map to needs.
• Plan, configure networks, and run field trials and evaluations.
• Collaborate with Engineering and BD to use testing data and benchmarking.
• Support technical proposals and RFI/RFP responses with input.
• Engage with stakeholders across USSOCOM and components for technical alignment.
• Conduct market research on potential integrations with partners.
• Translate field feedback into product roadmap inputs and progress tracking.
• Travel up to 50% to customer sites and labs.
