Motorola Solutions’ Silvus Technologies unit seeks a Business Development Engineer for USSOCOM engagement. Bridge RF hardware capabilities with customer needs, and support field tests, demos, and end-to-end network architectures across multi-domain environments.

You will work with Engineering and BD teams, travel up to 50% to customer sites and labs, and may work remotely depending on location. Active SECRET clearance or ability to obtain within 15 months is required.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related C5ISR field (2–5 years in systems engineering, technical BD, or defense tech)
• Security clearance: Active U.S. Government SECRET or ability to obtain within 15 months
• US Citizenship due to government contracts

Mansioni

• Analyze USSOCOM capability gaps and SOF-peculiar requirements to map needs to radio solutions.
• Support field trials, modernizations, and user evaluations with network config and live-on-air execution.
• Collaborate with Engineering and BD to ensure architectures are technically sound and aligned with priorities.
• Prepare technical demos tailored to low-signature, resilient, tactical edge needs for USSOCOM and components.
