Motorola Solutions/ Silvus Technologies seeks a Business Development Engineer, USSOCOM to bridge RF capabilities with Special Operations Command needs. You will support technical demonstrations, field trials, and competitive benchmarking, reporting to Applications Engineering while collaborating with Business Development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, CS, Network Engineering, or related C5ISR with 2-5 years experience; OR HS diploma with 5+ years.
• Experience with SDRs, IP routing, or tactical communication systems.
• Familiarity with RF test equipment such as spectrum analyzers and signal generators.
• Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain within 15 months.
• U.S. Citizen required for government contracts.
• Background check and drug test required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze USSOCOM capability gaps and map needs to radio solutions.
• Plan network configurations and conduct field trials, modernizations, and evaluations.
• Collaborate to benchmark data and validate architectures.
• Coordinate with Business Development on technical needs and priorities.
• Develop demonstrations for low-signature, edge operational needs.
• Support RFI/RFP responses with technical input.
• Perform market research for partnerships and end-to-end networks.
• Engage with USSOCOM stakeholders and component commands.
• Gather field feedback to influence product roadmap.
• Travel up to 50% to customer sites and labs.
