Job summary

James River Grounds Management, LLC is seeking a Business Development Associate to drive growth in assigned markets. The role focuses on initiating and growing relationships with potential and current clients, and developing sales strategies with company leaders and production staff.

This exempt, full-time position emphasizes prospecting, leading sales opportunities, and expanding awareness through association involvement and social media, with responsibilities including CRM upkeep and guiding

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of prior sales experience in a relevant industry.
• Experience selling in property/facility management is preferred but not required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop a Sales Plan with the Branch Manager for each assigned territory.
• Proactively canvas markets to seek out new business opportunities and fully build out CRM with all projects per market.
• Develop and coordinate new strategic customer sales and relationships through the generation of new leads and penetration of key accounts.
• Create opportunities by identifying client objectives and developing customer-specific solutions.
• Drive sales process from initial contact through strategy, proposal, presentation and closing.
• Follow up with new clients as outlined in communication plans.
