Job summary

Asplundh is seeking a Business Development Associate in Herndon, VA to drive new business opportunities and revenue growth across assigned markets. You will collaborate with branch leadership and production teams to execute sales strategies and meet targets.

The role involves prospecting, building customer relationships, and leveraging CRM systems to track opportunities and forecasts, with ongoing engagement in networking events and industry activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 5+ years of prior sales experience in a relevant industry.

Responsibilities

• Develop a Sales Plan with the Branch Manager for each assigned territory.
• Proactively canvas markets to seek out new business opportunities and build out CRM with all projects per market.
• Develop and coordinate new strategic customer sales and relationships through generation of new leads and penetration of key accounts.
• Create opportunities by identifying client objectives and developing customer-specific solutions.
