Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience leading capture efforts for complex defense programs.
• Ability to develop customer relationships and influence opportunity shaping.
• Strong understanding of acquisition processes, contracts, and capture lifecycle.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams across multiple functions.
• Executive communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Experience with proposal strategy, pricing, staffing, and solution positioning.
• Knowledge of manufacturing readiness and production constraints.
• Understanding of program financials, forecasting, margins, and growth.
• Leadership and accountability in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end capture activities from qualification to proposal readiness.
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships with acquisition offices and prime partners.
• Identify and shape new opportunities including follow-on work and task orders.
• Drive pipeline growth through market analysis and competitive assessments.
• Support development of win strategies translating requirements into solutions.
• Coordinate capture planning activities and pricing strategy sessions.
• Collaborate with proposal teams to improve win probability.
• Establish partnerships and teaming arrangements.
• Ensure smooth handoff from capture to execution.
• Lead risk identification and mitigation in capture and proposals.
• Promote disciplined BD processes and CRM governance.
