Job summary

Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Proposal Manager at the KUAS division to drive capture and development efforts.

You will lead a cross-functional team to create compelling, compliant proposals in response to RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs, coordinating schedules, reviews, and production. The role requires 5+ years of experience in proposal management, strong writing/editing skills, and knowledge of DoD contracting practices.

Qualifications

• Experience leading large complex proposals for prime contracts.
• Excellent writing and editing skills for persuasive content.
• Strong understanding of DoD, commercial, and international acquisition practices.

Responsibilities

• Reviews RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs and leads the response plan.
• Creates and guides proposal management artifacts and schedules.
• Facilitates capture/strategy sessions to develop win themes.
• Leads kickoff meetings and status calls to ensure schedule adherence.
• Oversees proposal production, reviews, and compliance with instructions.
• Partners with Program Managers to ensure smooth transition from proposal to execution.
