Job summary

Strativia in Largo, MD seeks a mid-level Business Development & Capture Manager to drive growth in the federal market. You will identify, qualify, develop, and capture opportunities across Defense and Federal Civilian programs, coordinating with government stakeholders and partners.

The role focuses on go-to-market strategies, pipeline management, and leveraging AI tools to provide competitive intelligence to leadership. A bachelor’s degree is preferred and TS/SCI clearance is desirable.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of relevant business development and capture experience within the federal government contracting (GOVCON) industry required.
• Proven success leading the development and capture of opportunities valued at $10M or greater.
• Strong experience incorporating AI tools into business development and capture activities.
• Experience with GovDash highly preferred.
• Knowledge of federal procurement, acquisition processes, competitive positioning, capture strategy, and proposal development.
• Experience supporting Defense and Federal Civilian customers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute business development and capture strategies for Defense and Federal Civilian markets.
• Identify, research, qualify, and lead complex federal contracting opportunities through the BD and capture lifecycle.
• Develop capture plans and align customer requirements, competition, teaming strategies, and capabilities.
• Leverage AI-enabled tools to enhance opportunity identification, qualification, and market research.
• Coordinate with government stakeholders, industry partners, and teaming organizations to advance opportunities.
• Manage the BD and capture pipeline and support proposal responses.
