Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a Sr Sales Manager to lead a team engaging US Army customers with cloud, AI, and edge solutions. You will partner with AWS sales, BD, and solutions architecture to deliver strategic workloads and modernize IT for the Army.

You will build a high-performing team, define market plans, manage a busy pipeline, and present reviews to senior leadership. This role requires US citizenship and TS/SCI clearance, with opportunities to shape the Army's cloud-enabled

Qualifications

9+ years of sales or account management experience supporting the DOW with a proven ability to deliver results.
Demonstrated ability to engage and influence senior government executives (SES/Flag Officer level).
Experience developing detailed go to market plans for large government customers.

Responsibilities

Serve as a key sales leader and member of the leadership team for the US Army team driving overall AWS strategy and execution.
Engage directly with US Army senior leaders on IT modernization strategies.
Define and execute a strategic market development plan for the customer base with internal stakeholders.
Define and size the total addressable opportunity across the US Army space and engage key customers.
Build and support the business development pipeline with prospects and partners.
Present business reviews to AWS senior management on progress and strategy.
Manage a high volume of engagements and interactions in the cloud market.
Lead and allocate resources to meet goals and quotas.
