Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an Account Executive to partner with Army leaders and demonstrate how AWS cloud capabilities can accelerate mission outcomes in tactical and strategic operations.

You will own the full sales cycle from identifying opportunities to closing deals, while building trusted relationships with senior military and civilian decision-makers focused on modernization and safer battlefield operations.

Qualifications

• Experience building strategic relationships with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• 3+ years of technology-related sales or business development experience.
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow a book of business within the U.S. Army by identifying, pursuing, and closing key opportunities as part of a dedicated Army sales team.
• Build and maintain deep relationships with senior military officers, civilian leaders, and acquisition professionals across the Army enterprise.
• Translate AWS cloud capabilities into mission-relevant value propositions that help the Army operate with greater speed, safety, and decisive advantage.
• Drive both business and technical engagements by partnering with solutions architects and technical specialists.
• Engage daily with customers across staff offices, program offices, and operational units to identify modernization opportunities.
• Think strategically about the Army's mission challenges and connect AWS services to outcomes.
• Travel to customer sites and events as required.
