Job summary

Databricks seeks a Sr. Deployment Strategist for the Financial Services practice. You will act as the product manager for the customer engagement, owning the “why” and “what” while partnering with engineers on the “how.”

You will build C-suite trust, map organizational landscapes, define MVPs, write PRDs, and drive engagements from discovery to production launch and adoption, ensuring value delivery through data, security, and operations considerations.

Qualifications

• Executive presence and communication to influence C-suite and stakeholders.
• Strong product judgment to define what to build and why, and manage agile delivery.
• Technical fluency across modern data/AI architectures, cloud platforms, APIs, security.
• Hands-on ability to explore data, prototype, and troubleshoot with code or notebooks.
• 7+ years delivering data, analytics, AI, or software engagements, with production experience.

Responsibilities

• Bridge business problems and technical solutions from discovery through production launch.
• Define MVP, write PRD, and guide engineering backlog with iterative delivery.
• Lead technical discovery and architecture discussions with engineers and product teams.
• Ensure production readiness across data quality, security, and operations; drive adoption and value realization.
• Handoff and codify reusable solution patterns for future engagements.
