Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Sr. Deployment Strategist for the Public Sector to bridge multi-million-dollar business problems with Databricks solutions. You will own discovery, define MVPs, write PRDs, and lead cross-functional teams from pilot to production adoption, while ensuring security, data quality, and operational readiness.

Extensive executive-facing engagement and hands-on delivery are required. You will work onsite with customers, collaborate with Sales, and guide architecture decisions,

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience delivering complex, customer-facing data/AI/software engagements.
• Ability to write strong product requirements and clear data/engineering specs.
• Must be clearable with the US Government.

Responsibilities

• Bridge customer business problems and Databricks solutions from discovery to production launch.
• Own the PRD, backlogs, and MVP definition for pilots.
• Lead technical discovery and architecture discussions with engineers and customers.
• Own Day 0 launch, production readiness, and adoption tracking.
• Identify and shape next high-value engagements with customers.
