Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Sr. Deployment Strategist for Healthcare & Life Sciences. You will bridge business problems with technical solutions, act as the field product manager, and guide engagements from discovery to production launch.

You will define MVPs, write PRDs, and lead agile delivery with cross-functional teams, ensuring data flows, integrations, security, and operations meet production standards. On-site collaboration with customers is expected.

Qualifications

• Executive presence and communication skills to interact with C-suite stakeholders.
• Ability to define what to build, write strong product requirements, and manage complex agile projects.
• Knowledge of modern data and AI architectures, cloud platforms, data pipelines, and governance.
• Proficiency in at least one language (Python, Java, or SQL) and ability to work with notebooks and pipelines.
• Typically 7+ years delivering data, analytics, AI, or software engagements;, on-site with customers (sometimes >25%).

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales to perform deep discovery and map the customer's organization.
• Own the PRD, backlog, scope, and QA testing for the engagement.
• Lead technical discovery, design reviews, and architecture decisions with engineers.
• Manage Day 0 launch, production readiness, and post-launch adoption and feedback.
• Identify next high-value engagements and codify reusable solution patterns.
