Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Sr. Deployment Strategist for the Forward Deployed Engineering team to bridge customer business problems and the Databricks platform.

You will own the MVP, write PRD, and lead end-to-end delivery with FDEs, driving production readiness and value realization across complex AI engagements.

Expect executive-level collaboration, hands-on technical leadership, and frequent onsite work with customers and engineers to land large-scale solutions.

Qualifications

• Executive presence and communication with C-suite stakeholders.
• Ability to define what to build, write PRDs, and prioritize work.
• Understanding modern data and AI architectures and pipelines.
• Proficiency in at least one language (Python/Java/SQL) and prototyping.
• 7+ years delivering data, analytics, AI, or software engagements.

Responsibilities

• Bridge customer business problems with Databricks solutions and lead discovery.
• Own MVP and write PRD, guiding the engineering team.
• Lead agile delivery with FDEs and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Ensure production readiness including data quality, security, and ops.
• Capture feedback, iterate on value realization, and drive growth.
