Job summary

Databricks, headquartered in San Francisco, seeks a Sr. Deployment Strategist to bridge business problems with technical solutions. You will own the engagement from discovery to production, writing the MVP, guiding architecture, and managing the team to a successful landing.

You will build executive trust, scope $10M+ opportunities, and lead end-to-end delivery while ensuring adoption and continued value realization for customers onsite with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Executive presence and communication skills with senior stakeholders.
• Ability to define what to build, why, and translate requirements into tangible outcomes.
• Fluency in modern data and AI architectures; cloud platforms and data pipelines.
• Proficiency in at least one language such as Python, Java, or SQL.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales to scope a $10M+ opportunity and define the pilot MVP.
• Write PRD and manage the engineering backlog; ensure data, security, and ops requirements are clear.
• Lead agile delivery with the FDE team; coordinate from discovery to production readiness.
• Own Day 0 launch, drive adoption, collect feedback, and iterate towards measurable business value.
• Codify reusable patterns and hand off to Product/Engineering for ongoing value.
