Job summary

Databricks' Forward Deployed Engineering team seeks a Deployment Strategist to bridge customer business problems with Databricks solutions. You will be the product manager for the field, owning the “why” and “what” from discovery to production launch, building executive trust and shaping the engagement.

You will write the PRD, define MVPs, guide architecture with FDEs, and ensure pilots scale to production.

Qualifications

• 7+ years delivering complex data/AI engagements.
• Defining PRDs and guiding engineering backlogs.
• Ability to work with C-suite and engineers across orgs.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery to map the customer's landscape and quantify value.
• Own PRD and backlog management, MVP definition and pilot success criteria.
• Drive agile delivery with FDE and align stakeholders across teams.
• Own Day 0 launch and production readiness including data quality and security.
