Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Sr. Deployment Strategist for the Public Sector to bridge client business problems with technical solutions. You will own the product direction, lead discovery, define MVP, write PRD, and guide the engineering team from prototype to production.

You will build executive trust, map organizational value, and collaborate with FDE engineers through agile delivery. Expect onsite collaboration with customers 25–50% of the time and broad stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Executive presence with strong communication and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Ability to define what to build, write strong product requirements, and lead complex projects.
• Deep knowledge of modern data/AI architectures, cloud platforms, data pipelines, APIs, and governance.
• Proficiency in at least one language (Python, Java, or SQL) and hands-on prototyping.
• 7+ years delivering data/AI/software engagements or equivalent founder/technical builder experience.

Responsibilities

• Bridge customer problems to Databricks solutions from discovery to production.
• Own PRD, backlog prioritization, and define MVP, success criteria, and timelines.
• Lead agile delivery with the FDE team; manage stakeholders across C-suite to engineers.
• Own Day 0 launch, production readiness, and drive adoption and feedback loops.
• Codify reusable solution patterns and share insights with Product and Engineering.
