Job summary

Cresta is seeking a Strategic AI Agent Solutions Engineer to drive the AI Agent technical narrative from discovery to demos. You will partner with Core SEs to design use cases, lead workshops, and assess API feasibility for enterprise customers.

You will translate technical depth into business value for economic buyers, craft ROI models, and ensure smooth handoff with Forward Deployed PMs. This is a high-impact pre-sales engineering role.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years in a customer-facing technical role, with at least 5 years in pre-sales selling to large enterprises.
• Hands-on experience designing, building, or selling AI Agents or agentic AI systems.
• Familiarity with agent frameworks, orchestration patterns, and LLM-based architectures.
• Experience with APIs and enterprise system integration patterns.
• Experience with Conversational AI and contact center technologies.
• Strong ability to translate technical depth into business value for stakeholders.
• workshop facilitator and collaborator, capable of presenting to C-suite audiences.
• Python for prototyping or demos is a plus.
• Familiarity with Salesforce.com is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Be the AI Agent expert and establish technical credibility early in the sales process.
• Partner with Core SEs to own the AI Agent narrative.
• Lead technical discovery workshops to define use cases and scope.
• Lead API discovery and assess integration feasibility.
• Own high-stakes AI Agent demos with the Core SE team.
• Qualify and shape AI Agent deals early.
• Build ROI models with Sales Directors and Core SEs.
• Collaborate with Forward Deployed PMs and Engineers for smooth handoff.
• Share AI Agent knowledge across the SE org via enablement.
