Job summary

Cresta is seeking a Principal Solutions Engineer (West) to lead customer engagements from discovery through validation of AI-powered solutions. You will partner with Sales Directors and act as both business consultant and technical expert, shaping how Cresta’s real-time AI helps customers achieve ROI.

You’ll discuss goals, environments, and challenges, architecting solutions with LLMs, SLMs, and real-time AI assistance while aligning technical feasibility with business value.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of customer-facing experience, including 1–3 years in pre-sales or solutions engineering within enterprise software or contact center industry.
• Deep knowledge of CCaaS platforms and telephony architectures.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML, LLMs/SLMs and their application in conversational AI.

Responsibilities

• Act as a consultative partner to uncover business objectives, environments, and challenges to map to AI-driven solutions.
• Design and deliver demonstrations that highlight Cresta’s AI-powered virtual agents, agent assist, and conversation intelligence.
• Lead technical discovery sessions covering contact center infrastructure, IVR, CRM/workforce management integrations.
• Translate customer requirements into scalable Cresta configurations with business value in mind.
• Provide ROI workshops and build business-case models connecting Cresta capabilities to measurable impact.
