Job summary

AV is seeking a Senior Contracts Manager in Albuquerque, NM to lead bid and contract negotiations across aerospace programs. You will drive lifecycle management, ensure compliance with FAR/DFAR and DoD requirements, and coordinate with legal, finance, procurement, and engineering to mitigate risk and support business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business/related field.
• Minimum 8–10 years in aerospace/defense/government contracting.
• Security clearance (Secret/Top Secret) or ability to obtain.
• Experience with government contracts and FAR/DFAR concepts.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and risk assessment skills.
• Ability to translate business risk to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead bid, capture and contract negotiation processes.
• Manage end-to-end contract lifecycle from award to close-out.
• Draft and negotiate various agreements (NDAs, GPAs, Subcontracts, Licenses).
• Ensure terms comply with applicable regulations and company policies.
• Coordinate flow-downs across departments (PM, Eng, Finance, QA).
• Interface with DCMA and audits as needed.
• Maintain accurate contract files and data systems.
