Job summary

AV is seeking a Senior Contracts Manager in the United States (CA/Simi Valley area) to oversee complex aerospace contracts. You will partner with legal, finance, procurement, and engineering to streamline workflows, mitigate risks, evaluate performance, and ensure execution of agreements that drive business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 8–10 years' aerospace/defense/government contracting experience.
• Ability to obtain U.S. Security Clearance (Secret, Top Secret preferred).
• Strong knowledge of Federal/International regulations and DoD/Federal prime contracts.

Responsibilities

• Lead bid, capture and contract negotiation processes; draft and review agreements.
• manage contract lifecycle including amendments, interpretations, and performance reviews.
• Coordinate flow-downs of terms with program management, engineering, finance, and quality.
• Liaise with DCMA/audit agencies; may lead internal and external audits.
• Maintain accurate contract files and ensure data integrity in systems.
