Job summary

AeroVironment, Inc. is seeking a Senior Contracts Manager to lead bid and contract activities for complex aerospace programs in a cross-functional environment.

You will draft, negotiate and administer agreements, ensuring regulatory compliance and effective risk management throughout multi-year contracts. Responsibilities include coordinating with legal, finance, procurement and engineering, managing contract performance, and supporting amendments and audits while maintaining accurate contract

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• 8–10 years' aerospace/defense/government contracting experience.
• U.S. Security Clearance (Secret or Top Secret preferred).
• Expertise in Federal and International regulations and related legal concepts.
• Experience with international and DoD/Federal prime government contract administration/management.

Responsibilities

• Lead bid, proposal and contract negotiation activities for new and sustaining programs.
• Manage contract lifecycle activities including modifications, closeouts and amendments.
• Draft, review and negotiate NDAs, SA/PPAs, Subcontracts and master agreements.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Coordinate flow-downs of terms with program management, engineering and finance; liaise with DCMA and audit agencies.
