Job summary

AV is seeking a Senior Contracts Manager in Florida to lead complex aerospace contract activities from bid through lifecycle execution. You will partner with legal, finance, procurement and engineering to streamline workflows, manage risk, and ensure compliance with government and commercial contracts.

The role demands strong drafting and negotiation skills, experience with FAR/DFAR, and the ability to drive performance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a business field or related area.
Strong negotiation and drafting capabilities for government and DoD contracts.
Excellent written and verbal communication across cross-functional teams.
Ability to present complex regulatory concepts clearly to leadership.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Operations, Legal, Finance and Engineering on bid and contract management for aerospace programs.
Oversee contract lifecycle activities: review, negotiations, modifications, and close-outs for complex contracts.
Draft and negotiate NDAs, Sales/Purchase, Subcontracts and Master Agreements, including FAR-based contracts and OTAs.
Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, terms, and company policies across contracts.
Monitor performance, summarize obligations, and assess risks for internal stakeholders.
Coordinate flow-downs of terms with program management, engineering, finance, and quality.
