Job summary

Jobgether, on behalf of a partner company, seeks a Strategic ACO Contract Manager based in the United States. This remote role leads complex contract negotiations with hospitals, physician groups, and other healthcare providers to balance financial performance, quality outcomes, and network adequacy.

You will manage the full contract lifecycle from negotiation to renewal, applying expertise in ACO arrangements, risk-based contracting, financial modeling, and data analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Eight+ years of healthcare contracting, provider relations, or health plan operations.
• Strong understanding of provider contracting strategies, risk-based agreements, reimbursement structures, financial models, and data analytics.
• Ability to interpret and negotiate complex contracts and terms.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate, draft, and evaluate provider contracts aligned with financial objectives, standard templates, reimbursement guidelines, and process controls.
• Oversee contracts from initiation and negotiation through execution, renewal, amendment, and closure, ensuring deadlines and obligations are met.
• Maintain contract language, fee schedules, and reimbursement terms in line with medical policy changes and evolving structures.
• Address provider concerns, manage disputes, and facilitate resolutions to support long-term partnerships.
• Assess provider and network performance to identify opportunities for cost savings, quality improvements, and service delivery enhancements.
