Job summary

Cengage Group in San Diego, CA is seeking a Sales Consultant to support the sales process through content mapping, system updates, order processing, and billing reviews. You will coordinate with the Strategic Accounts Team and Regional Directors to keep opportunities progressing and territories covered.

The role emphasizes administrative excellence, CRM maintenance, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• BA or BS degree preferred.
• At least two years of successful sales or customer interaction experience.
• Direct sales, marketing or editorial experience.
• Experience with digital sales products/applications and Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and support selling strategies with sales leadership.
• Provide day-to-day administrative support enabling revenue-generating activity.
• Update Salesforce and maintain accounts, contacts, activities, and territory data.
• Pull CRM and sales reports to support analysis and forecasting.
• Assist with contract alignment, order processing, and billing questions.
• Coordinate cross-functional efforts with Sales Management and other teams.
