Job summary

Border States, a 100% employee-owned electrical distributor, is seeking a Strategic Account Manager. The role focuses on growing profitable sales across regions, creating long-term customer value, and leading cross-functional teams to deliver proposals and strategic plans.

You will partner with Supply Chain Services and EPC customers to pursue Renewables / Infrastructure opportunities, driving revenue growth and ensuring alignment with regional objectives.

Qualifications

• Minimum a four-year engineering degree or equivalent in substantial technical work experience.
• Minimum 5 years of outside sales or business development experience.
• Experience initiating and negotiating agreements is highly preferred.
• Must read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strategic plans for key and target customers across regions.
• Present value propositions and lead customer engagements to drive revenue growth.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute enterprise customer strategy.
• Manage relationships to expand share of wallet and deliver on commitments.
• Support relationship and outcome management with customers and stakeholders.
