Border States, a 100% employee-owned company, seeks a Strategic Account Manager to grow profitable sales across regional and national accounts. You will develop proposals with the Supply Chain Services team and coordinate with cross-functional partners to drive revenue growth in renewables and infrastructure.

You will work with a multifunctional team to establish engagement strategies, expand share of wallet, and ensure alignment with company objectives, with location in Phoenix, AZ and

Qualifications

• Four-year engineering degree or equivalent in substantial technical work experience.
• Minimum 5 years of outside sales and/or business development experience.
• Experience initiating and negotiating agreements preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Strong working knowledge of PC Windows, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint); SAP experience as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic plans for key customers and targets.
• Present value propositions and clarify Border States' value using presentations and collateral.
• Lead a cross-functional team to meet revenue growth targets.
• Manage relationships and expand share of wallet with strategic accounts.
• Coordinate with SCS Administrators for proposals and extended services.
