Job summary

Winter Services LLC, based in Elgin, IL, seeks an experienced Account Manager to oversee snow removal and landscaping projects. You will manage customer transitions from Business Development, maintain strong client relations, and drive service delivery excellence across maintenance and enhancement work.

The role requires precision in budgeting, scheduling, and reporting, with frequent site visits and collaboration with a leadership team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; advanced degree preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of landscaping design, maintenance, irrigation, and horticulture.
• Proven track record in managing customer accounts and delivering projects.
• Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills for client and team relationships.
• Proficient in project management and budgeting.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Familiar with landscaping software (Aspire, Salesforce, Netsuite).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Able to work with General Manager, Operations Team, and Senior Leadership.
• Goal oriented with collaborative mindset.
• Integrity and honesty as core values.
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Transition and onboard new customers with Business Development to your area.
• Serve as primary contact for assigned customer accounts.
• Manage renewals for snow and/or landscape services via Salesforce.
• Identify opportunities to expand services with customers.
• Coordinate enhancement projects from initiation to completion.
• Schedule crews and allocate resources with Production Manager.
• Monitor project budgets and ensure profitability.
• Provide regular CRM pipeline and performance reporting.
• Communicate progress to senior management.
• Assist with year-round budget planning as needed.
