Job summary

Integrated Power Services (IPS) is seeking an Account Manager to drive growth in its distribution and motor/power management sales. You will develop new customer accounts, advise on service center capabilities, and cross-sell IPS product lines while focusing on local opportunities.

You will travel up to 40% and build long-term relationships, present proposals, coordinate with engineering specialists, analyze customer needs, and protect margins through thoughtful pricing.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales experience in industrial environment.
• 4 year degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel 40%+
• Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop a list of prospective customers with the business development team; determine the sales strategy and follow up with visits and correspondence.
• Analyze and understand customer requirements.
• Coordinate proposals with technical specialists for complex customer modifications.
• Present proposals to customers.
• Establish long-term customer relationships using IPS policies and product capabilities.
• Consult with management on pricing, specifications, warranties and service adaptations.
• Understand competition in the marketplace and bid situations.
