Job summary

Integrated Power Services (IPS) seeks an Account Manager to drive sales in its distribution and motor/power management lines. You will develop new customer accounts, advise on center capabilities, and cross-sell multiple IPS product lines while focusing on distribution and related services.

You will manage proposals with technical teams, build long-term relationships, and travel extensively to meet customers and close deals.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 3 years of experience operating a vehicle with a valid, unrestricted driver’s license.
• Must maintain the ability to travel +40% of the time.
• Understanding of advanced rotating electrical AC/DC machines.
• 4 year degree in Engineering or other technical applications preferred.
• Strong analytical thinking and reasoning abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop a list of prospective customers with the business development team, call on customers, and follow up with visits and correspondence.
• Analyze and understand customer requirements and propose solutions.
• Coordinate technical specialists for development of proposals for complex customer modifications.
• Present proposals to customers and establish long-term relationships.
• Coordinate pricing, specifications, warranties, and service adaptations with management.
• Stay informed on market competition and bid scenarios.
