Integrated Power Services is seeking an Account Manager to drive sales in the distribution and motor/power management sectors. You will develop new customer accounts, advise clients on service center capabilities, and cross-sell IPS product lines with a focus on industrial solutions.

You’ll travel about 40% of the time, analyze customer requirements, coordinate with engineering teams, and build long-term relationships. A technical background and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires 3+ years of selling experience in an industrial environment.
• 4 year degree in Engineering or technical field preferred.
• Must have 3+ years of experience operating a vehicle with a valid, unrestricted driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel +40% of the time.
• Strong analytical thinking and data interpretation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop a list of prospective customers with the team and determine sales strategy.
• Call on customers and follow up with visits and correspondence.
• Analyze customer requirements and coordinate proposals with technical specialists.
• Present proposals and establish long-term customer relationships.
• Collaborate on pricing, specifications, warranties, and service adaptations.
