Job summary

Integrated Power Services (IPS) seeks an Account Manager to drive sales in the distribution and motor/power management sectors across North America. You will develop new accounts, explain IPS capabilities, and cross-sell product lines while coordinating with technical teams on proposals and configurations.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in industrial sales, a technical degree, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial sales with similar product applications.
Willingness to travel 40%+ of the time.
Understanding of rotating electrical AC/DC machines.
4-year degree in Engineering or related technical field preferred.
Strong analytical thinking and data interpretation skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Develop a list of prospective customers with the business development team and pursue appropriate sales strategies.
Analyze and understand customer requirements to tailor proposals.
Coordinate the efforts of technical specialists to develop proposals for complex modifications.
Present proposals to customers and establish long-term relationships.
Collaborate with management on pricing, specifications, warranties, and service adaptations.
Maintain knowledge of market competition and bid environments.
