Job summary

Hydro-Gear LLC in Indianapolis, IN is seeking an Account Manager to grow relationships and drive revenue by delivering high-value hydraulic, electronic, and drive system solutions.

You will engage with customers, provide pricing quotes, and coordinate with engineering and sales teams to tailor applications. This role involves up to 50% travel, a competitive compensation package, and a bonus plan. A Bachelor's degree and 2+ years in related field are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience and/or training in sales or account management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with onsite or face-to-face customer interaction.
• Mechanical and/or electrical field knowledge of hydraulics, electronics, or drive systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships and revenue growth with innovative high value applications.
• Supporting customers to create solutions and maximize customer satisfaction.
• Provide pricing quotes and assistance to customers and clarify their needs to ensure proper application of products and services.
• Conduct proper account call frequency (up to 50% scheduled travel) to maintain a proactive position.
• Serve as key point of communication and act on customer’s behalf for applications.
