Job summary

Applied Industrial Technologies is seeking an experienced Industrial Sales Professional to drive sales of hydraulic, pneumatic and electro-mechanical products. You will analyze customer needs, propose solutions, prepare bids, and manage the sales cycle from prospecting to closing, with 50% travel.

Required three years of industrial sales experience and a High School Diploma or GED, with a Bachelor’s degree preferred. Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

• Three years of industrial sales experience; hydraulic experience preferred.
• Strong sales presentation and the ability to close.

Responsibilities

• Review sales and market information to determine customer potential.
• Recommend products based on customer needs and business interests.
• Contact current and prospective customers to grow Hydradyne brand relationships.
• Prepare drawings, estimates, and bids to meet customer needs.
• Meet with customers to demonstrate features and benefits of products and services.
• Obtain credit information on prospective customers.
• Close sale contracts or forms to record sales information.
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints.
• Oversee delivery or installation of products to equipment.
• Travel required: 50%.
