Job summary

Southeastern Freight Lines is seeking an Account Manager to present the company to clients and secure market share. You will execute a structured 60‑day plan, review manifests and quotes, and set a robust schedule of calls and meetings to build profitable margins.

You will negotiate pricing, work with Operations on CMI, and leverage the Sales Mobile App and Tableau to drive informed decisions. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in sales or management.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is required.
• Preferred 3 years of experience in sales or management.
• A valid Driver's License is required.

Responsibilities

• Present the Company in the best light to prospective and current clients.
• Execute a 60‑day plan of calls on customers in a territory.
• Review manifests and quotes for new leads; target 6 prospecting calls per week.
• Schedule 40 weekly contacts and 30 face‑to‑face calls; set weekly appointments.
• Negotiate pricing and terms; complete pricing requests.
• Collaborate with Operations on Continuous Measurable Improvement (CMI).
• Use Tableau dashboards to make data‑driven decisions.
• Identify non‑asset transportation solutions for customers.
